First visits at Happy Kids Dental start both children and adults on a lifelong journey to great oral health.
Here’s what to expect the first time your family comes to see us, from your welcome at Reception to the famous Prize Tower!

How to prepare your child for a dental visit
Dental Visits
I’ll arrive early and be greeted by the reception team who will show me around our amazing Waiting Area where I can play on the iPad games.
I’ll take the stairs to the lower floor where there’s a playroom and Pac-Man games!
I will go into the surgery then I’ll lay down sit down in the comfy chair and put on sunglasses.
I will watch my favourite cartoon whilst the dentist counts my teeth.
ALL FINISHED! I get to choose my stickers from the drawer.
I then head back up to reception and will receive a prize from the Prize Tower! All done!
Hygiene Visits
I’ll arrive early and be greeted by the reception team who will show me around our amazing Waiting Area where I can play on the iPad games.
My hygienist will come to collect me from the Waiting Area.
I can have a go at brushing big animals’ teeth at the Brushing Stations.
Into the surgery - I will then learn how to brush my teeth with the hygienist’s help.
I’ll then have my teeth cleaned so they sparkle!
ALL FINISHED! I get to choose my stickers and toothbrush from the drawer.
I then head back up to reception and will receive a prize from the Prize Tower! All done!
