Full Mouth Oral Health Assessment includes:
- Comprehensive examination with Carestream Intraoral Camera and DiagnoCam
- Small diagnostic x-rays and fluoride application
- Full caries risk assessment and report of your child’s oral health
- Evaluation of baby and permanent tooth eruption patterns and how your child’s dental age corresponds to their chronological age
- Diet and nutritional counselling
- Oral hygiene evaluation
- Formulation of detailed treatment plan and cost estimate
- Discussion of diseases and conditions such as diabetes, congenital heart defect, asthma, plus ADHD and its effect on oral health
Depending on your child’s age at the time of initial appointment:
- Advice on how to care for infants' teeth and advice on teething
- Oral Habit Counselling such as thumb sucking or dummy
- Evaluation of grinding and other destructive oral habits
- Discussion on how to prevent and care for potential dental trauma injuries
This appointment usually takes 30 minutes. If required, low radiation digital X-rays are available to aid diagnosis - £20 charge per X-ray applies.

- We adopt a preventative approach to children’s dental care, we will refer all patients for a follow-up hygiene and orthodontic consultation following their initial appointment, where appropriate.
